fabulous beaded velvet corset dating to around 1900. (Birthday gift from my husband). It is made from wine red velvet with silk pile. The lining is black silk. Lavishly decorated with glass beads, sequins and jewels. It still has a fringe of long strands of glass beads hanging down from the lower edge. I didn’t show the back but it laces with corset strings in the back. Shown also with my antique black Edwardian gown and antique necklace that matches well.
