Edwardian Cotton Batiste Gown

Antique Edwardian 1904/1905 fine cotton batiste gown. It has a print of roses on it! There is also a long story about this gown too! Nine years ago in 2014, I met a woman who was closing her bridal shop. She specialized in vintage and antique wedding gowns. I was just barely beginning to get into collecting and didn’t know what I liked. I bought a little silk taffeta bed/combing jacket, but she had showed me this piece. At the time, I was turned off by it because it had no waistband, no lining and needed work, to which I had no idea what to do, so I turned it down. A decision I later regretted. HOWEVER!…Cut to 9 years later and I reunited with the same woman again as she had a different store (more steampunk themed). She still had the gown and I was able to get a second chance to own it! And here it is! What a beauty! Very proud that I waited 9 years to reunite with this piece!
