Antique Victorian Winter Coat

Beautiful antique Paisley Edwardian coat. I don’t have an exact year, probably early 1900s, but it is beautiful!. It is lined in heavy ivory silk satin, trimmed in lace, braided appliques, and velveteen ribbons, and has one slit in the right side seam – so that one could reach in for a misers bag or chatelaine. The sleeves are rich, inky black silk, ending in cuffs that have the same lining and lace treatment as the collar.
