Bradbury Building, Los Angeles CA
VERY SPECIAL PHOTOSHOOT! I had an absolute blast at the Bradbury Building in Los Angeles. Built in 1893, the original elevators are one the most amazing features of this iconic structure. It is the smoothest ride, and compares to nothing of today’s elevators. Featured films are The Artist, Blade Runner, Double Indemnity.
I have wanted to do a shoot here since I got this beautiful gown, which is from 1895. I had a vision of walking the hallways, standing in the elevator, and standing along the grand stairways wearing such a piece. The skirt is made of a soft blue velvet. The bodice is made from a mix of silk taffeta, silk chiffon and blue velvet. Honestly one of the most lovely styles from the time period.
I had the entire building to myself with just security to take us to any of the 5 floors, as this was a prearranged shoot with permission from management. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and one I shall never forget. Over 400 pictures were taken, but I selected the best!
Big thanks for Leire Baztarrica photography for taking such amazing photographs.

The Magic Castle, Hollywood CA
VERY SPECIAL PHOTOSHOOT: THE MAGIC CASTLE: HOLLYWOOD CA. This photoshoot was the best photoshoot I have ever done (wearing my antique 1890s Honiton lace gown). I was given permission to do a private shoot inside the Magic Castle in Hollywood, where usually photography is prohibited beyond the lobby. (A rule former board member and old time actor Cary Grant created) For those who don’t know. The Magic Castle is the private club for the Academy of Magical Arts where magicians and associate members and their guests can enjoy a fun filled evening of magic! I am a member. Camarillo Ranch House
Featuring the Camarillo Ranch House in California to whom I am so grateful for granting permission to do my shoot in this wonderful 1892 Victorian house! I completed this shoot in two different ensembles. This was the first one. Honestly we had over 400 photos and this is just a small portion of them. I will post part 2 in a week, but for now enjoy part 1. As an FYI, it is where “The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan” film was filmed in 1979 for whoever remembers that film.

Featuring the Camarillo Ranch House in California to whom I am so grateful for granting permission to do my shoot in this wonderful 1892 Victorian house! This is my second ensemble and I like to call it the “Jennie Logan dress” as the color was similar to hers in the film “The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan,” where that amazing movie was filmed!

Special Photoshoot with Cosplayer Amber Arden and Papermoon Shoppe
This was a really fun photoshoot collaboration with one of my friends Amber Arden and her friend Victoria Smith who owns Papermoon Shoppe. We had a blast doing this shoot together. The gown Amber is wearing is also from my collection.
