As a Christmas gift I received this amazing 1910 Edwardian wool coat. There is wonderful elaborate beading and tambour embroidery on the collar and on the sleeve panels. The sleeves are open at the sides, and there is an arm hole where both arms would slide through. I was told it was originally from a museum. If am able to find out which one I will update my post. It’s a great coat and I paired it with my Edwardian hammered silk dress on the dress form. Enjoy the pictures! I have not worn it yet, so no pictures of me in it, but once I do wear it I will post photos.
It’s a lovely piece indeed!
