This is not so much a vintage piece as it is a very special piece worn and owned by 1980s singer Laura Branigan. Laura Branigan was well known for her song Gloria in 1981 and Self Control in 1982. Suzan Abbott is the designer of this magnificent cape. Laura typically would wear it to various gala events. The material of the cape is fox fur and velvet on a rare pattern of paisley. This is my only cape piece at the moment and I absolutely love to wear it, although with California weather, there is not much opportunity to do so.
